The Bosnian state court’s appeals chamber on Thursday reduced the sentence to be served by Terzic, who was convicted last year of war crimes against civilians in Odzak in 1992.

Terzic, a former military policewoman with the Croatian Defence Council, was found guilty of mistreating Serbs who were being detained in a primary school and a factory in Odzak.

The court found that she beat prisoners, set dogs on them, and tortured, abused and humiliated them in various other ways.
